@aremmes I guess they figured the V8 was enough. The T6 (B6304T4) of the SI6 is an absolute monster of an engine, though. With the Polestar pack like mine it handily beats the hp and torque figures of the V8 and is probably more engine than the XC70 really ought to have.

Very different. I think the Leaf is designed to give a driving experience similar to that of a traditional ICE with an automatic, while the Tesla is unapologetically an EV.

Nissan has a service schedule with all kinds of bullshit work every 6 months, while the Tesla has a very minimal service schedule.

Some of the Nissan software never worked and now the whole service has been discontinued.

Aha! Found it. I was wrong: it was a car rescued by a horse, not a horse-drawn carriage that crashed.

Sadly I wasn't careful enough to capture the date or newspaper, but I think it's safe to say this is a very old photo from a very old camera.

I just released I don’t think I have any pictures of the back of my clubman. It had barn doors which I loved and would take over a hatch any day, but only 2 1/2 doors on the front section so it doesn’t quite count.

I've got a mostly-continuous two-doored vehicle streak going from the day I purchased my first car and don't intend to break it anytime soon. It's the best number of doors, after all.

I had my usual, the 'Big Al' burger, with a half pound patty, 2 slices of peameal, 3 slices of bacon (real bacon, not the paper thin fast food bacon) and double (real) cheddar.

Skin allergies? My pit mix has them. We switched food once a year or so and finally settled on Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach. He’s almost 10, been on it 2 years or so. Thankfully it’s the cheapest food he’s ever had too.

They had just started to play something mellow from the Vapor Trails album, which I decided was a good time for a bathroom break. I'm just finally making my way to the front of the line, when I hear the opening harmonics for Red Barchetta. I'd say 2/3 of the line bailed and made their way back out to their seats.

After several years of touring at Red Rocks, I was a bit bummed when their final show in Colorado was an arena show at Pepsi Center (now Ball Arena). I always hope to catch a glimpse of Neil riding in on his GS.

That's absolutely a valid strategy (see also beater bikes that look less attractive to thieves), but refraining from having nice things because they'll just get stolen is a decidedly nihilistic choice lol

It is, in fact, the choice I have made for myself. My Fit is the sport model, but it has the base-model 14" steelies.

@ForSweden guh, pan off work sucks. Everytime I do the diff oil on the cruiser or GX Im reminded that some people have to pull the entire diff cover off to to it and I shudder. The GX also has "lifetime" fluid, but it has a drain plug because Toyota knows that lifetime is only about 1/3rd the total life of their trucks. (around 120,000 miles is the interval that the techs will tell you).
