Such a shame. I grew up watching him from The Sweeney, Minder, On The Up, etc... then most recently New Tricks.
I loved On The Up.
I still say, 'just the one Mrs Wembley'.
Dennis Waterman played the wealthy business man who started out from a taxi firm into a chauffeur driven car service, who was going through a divorce, the show revolved around his house, the house keeper, Mrs Wembley, His Chauffeur, Sam, his assistant, Maggie (who sort of had a crush on him), and various others that played parts here and there.
Mrs Wembley, fond of a glass of sherry.
Mrs Wembley would say, I think i'll have a glass of sherry,
Often, all at the table would say in chorus, 'just the one Mrs Wembley'.
MW: would you like a glass of sherry?
other: yes, that'll be nice!
WM: I think I will have one too, just the one!
other: just the one Mrs Wembley.
@pip-bip With that in mind, I made it into a replica of a Portland Glass plate glass hauler (usually Transit/Sprinter/Promaster/Savannah van based in 1/1, but anything goes grey market car-wise in my collection)
@pip-bip the 300ZR had the NA VG30DE that would be used in the Z32 300ZX (dual overhead cam compared to the VG30E of most Z31s). this would've been pretty potent, at 220hp which is more than the turbo Z31 put out.
