GVX was a rare spot even brand new. IIRC they were $7500 or so. That got you a 1.3L/5-speed (over the 1.1/4-speed) along with the body cladding (which should be dark gray), alloy wheels with massive 155/80R-13 tires (up from 145) and bolstered seats with red stripes and a less primitive reclining mechanism. Also driving lights.
This was top of the line until the $10,000 Cabrio arrived in 1990. Those are really rare, 75, 82 or 85 built depending on who you ask.
If anyone's on a junkyard trawl and spots those center caps, they are gold.
