The KC Auto Museum hosts Cars and Coffee twice a month in the warm season, once at the Museum Building in Olathe and once at the Underground there. If you go to the C&C at the Underground, access is free; otherwise there is a small fee for the tour.
However, that tour money goes to their capital campaign. The future plan is to build the new museum on top of the parking structure/lot and consolidate the facilities. The grand plan for the Underground is that you will have the ability to store your car there, and you can choose to allow it to be an exhibit piece when you are not using it. It is a pretty neat concept.
I have considered using their space, but parking the daily outside and scraping windows for a couple months because the convertible is about as watertight as a colander isn't super inconvenient at the moment.
