@TheJWT @ibRAD When they flooded part of the town of Cromwell, NZ, to build the Clutha dam in the 1980s, some of the historic buildings were relocated to higher ground, but everything of low value or too hard to move was just left there. It’s a dive destination now (though for serious enthusiasts only, as it’s a glacier-fed lake so visibility sucks and it’s darn cold).

Subaru throws the ‘STI’ name around a bit more loosely in Japan. This is still just a WRX, and is no different than the 2015-2021 (VA) model. The WRX S4 for several years has been a CVT-only WRX. Meh.

@thejwt we considered staying longer term, I even started looking at the German residency and citizenship process, but ultimately we felt it was too far from family.

@skyfire77 One of my working theories is that something changed between F-35 design freeze and the various non-American 5th gen reveals that made lambda wings much more viable for LO design. I don't expect to learn what it was before my mind goes, or to not be sworn to secrecy if I do learn it, but there's clearly something there.

It's cool, but it's more like $2500-3500 cool, I think.

@way2blu I 100% agree. The Little C2 looks great, which is not something one can usually say about any Mitsouka cars. The fake Blazer is just very off, not a single element works with the other.
