It should come as no surprise that I, a person who lost all hope at an early age and has zero faith in the future's ability not to suck, tend to like red cars.
I'm not a huge stan or anything. The closest thing to standoms I've had were for Honey Badger and Seb, and even then, it was more of a reasonable enjoyment of these dudes' driving abilities and vibes as opposed to whatever it is that snaps in the heads of F1's worst fans who ruin things for everyone they encounter. I have various drivers I like, and generally just want to see a good race. So c'mon, it's the red cars' turn again. Ferrari always seems to set high hopes at the beginning of the year. Maybe it's their year? Maybe it's time for them to have a comeback? I know "Ferrari International Assistance" is a thing, but they've ate it mid-season so often lately that it almost feels like rooting for an underdog.
Just remember, kids. When Ferrari looks like it might be their turn to shake up the title fight, don't fall for it. Hope is dead. Nothing matters, and we'll all probably have to look at Jos Verstappen's insufferable face way too much as he continues to live vicariously through his kid.
