@davesaddiction in my case, it was mostly that the food would expire before we could reopen, so it really was going to be a loss if we didn’t take it home. Often it’s a liability thing though, any chance any of the product was comprised means it’s cheaper to write off the whole batch than open the door to liability for anything that goes wrong. Plus, I’ve never had this, but I understand that things can get weird with theft/vandalism. Like even recovered unopened goods are usually written off in my understanding.
Though, in all seriousness, if you'd caught me 4-odd years ago when I was getting my first car, this would've been a serious contender... I love these things, and hope you get it sold to someone who loves them too!
@essextee It’s expensive to ship US to Canada, iirc.
Yes. Your Secret Senna box two years ago was about $40 to send a moderately sized box with a few pounds of stuff of no real value to your realm. Totally worthwhile, but it is certainly a thing to ship in that direction as you mentioned.
@upcreekwithshitpaddle looks like it won’t fit, it needs at least 16”+ inside diameter to clear the calipers. The current 19” wheels have about an inch of clearance between the inside diameter of the wheel to the caliper, so 17” won’t likely do it.
